On the Cusp is a series of paintings that parallel unrelated imagery form cinematic sources and eras in film history to serve as the barometers of changing social norms and resistance.

Both playful and biting, the compositions act as visual poetry but also speak of personal disenchantment, life choices and the role of the past in the current psyche.

    TO DO: A Mending Project

Siobhan Arnold, Michelle Montjoy, Anna O’Cain

    nov 15 – dec 15, 2022

To Do is a social practice created by artists Siobhán Arnold, Michelle Montjoy and Anna O’Cain that taps into the restorative power of repair. Slightly quirky and homespun, this project is grounded in art history, the legacy of domestic craft and the power of communal actions like barn raising and quilting bees. We offer mending hours and workshops. Materials will be available, and guidance will be offered. Everyone is invited to participate: Bring a garment in need of repair to the gallery and we will assist you in the mending process.
