SPRING 2027 TENTATIVE EXHIBITS
Temple of Story: Witness
Tentative Exhibit Dates: Early February – Mid March (more precise dates will be available soon)

“Menagerie”, Neil Kendricks, Pastel
Temple of Story is an ongoing narrative installation series by Neil Kendricks and Mike Mare that brings
together drawing and sound. Each presentation functions as a chapter within a larger evolving body of
work.
Continuing the series through both new and existing material, this chapter presents new stories,
drawings, and music. The work approaches storytelling as a quiet inheritance, shaped by memory and
imagination. Rather than presenting a fixed narrative or singular storyline, Temple of Story exists through
image and sound.
Each story is accessed through an individual audio piece. When a QR code is scanned, viewers hear the
story told by a narrator, accompanied by an original musical composition. The sound appears to exist
within the images, shaping tone and emotional presence through listening.
Temple of Story unfolds as a nonlinear collection of stories, inviting viewers to engage at their own pace
and reflect on how stories are carried, remembered, and reshaped over time.
